As we begin the Advent Season, we welcome Rev. Lisa Orris as our guest preacher. She is an ordained Covenant pastor and is the founder of Grief Guide, a nonprofit organization dedicated to guiding people, organizations, companies, and communities through grief. In 2023, she was named one of McHenry County, IL Women of Distinction. She is a recently published author of Never Apologize for Your Tears, affirming that tears are not a sign of weakness — they are sacred. On Sunday, November 30th, Rev. Orris will speak on James 5:7-11 about being patient as we wait, with hope, for the coming of the Lord.
