Grateful Threads

Grateful Threads is a welcoming community where creativity and connection thrive.

  • Craft Together: Whether you’re quilting, knitting, crocheting, or working on a counted cross-stitch project, there’s always inspiration to be found.
  • Skill Levels Welcome: From beginners learning the basics to seasoned crafters perfecting their craft, everyone has a place here.
  • Flexible Schedule: We meet every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., so you can join us when it works best for you.
  • Shared Joy: Along with crafting, you’ll enjoy laughter, stories, and a sense of fellowship that makes every gathering special.

If you’re looking for a space to learn, create, and connect with others who share your love of handmade artistry, Grateful Threads is the perfect group for you. For more information, contact Linda Olson.

Covenant Mom's Group

The Covenant Moms Group is a welcoming community for moms with young children, from babies to grade schoolers. It's a place where we come together to craft, chat, and enjoy delicious food while supporting one another through the ups and downs of motherhood. Whether we’re sharing advice, offering a listening ear, or simply enjoying each other's company, this group is a valuable space to connect, learn, and grow together. It's a true “village” where every mom is welcomed and encouraged.

Butterfly Garden

The Butterfly Garden at our church is a beautiful and peaceful space dedicated to supporting pollinators, particularly butterflies. With a variety of native plants that provide nectar and shelter, the garden serves as an important habitat for butterflies and other beneficial insects. It has been officially recognized as a waypoint for migrating butterflies by the town of Schaumburg, highlighting its role in helping to sustain local and migratory butterfly populations. This garden is not only a haven for pollinators but also a tranquil spot for our community to enjoy and appreciate the wonders of nature.
