On Wednesday August 12th we will be collecting food at the front entrance of the church from 2 pm - 7 pm. We have two ways to support our community: 1) Schaumburg Food Pantry and 2) Tim's House. Tim's House is part of Timothy's Ministry. Since they cannot serve food, they are creating lightweight bags with: mens socks, crackers and packages (pouches) of tuna or chicken, granola bars, and toiletries (small sizes).
We are also supporting the Schaumburg Food Pantry. Please drop off food, or checks can be made out to the Township of Schaumburg with Food Pantry in the memo section. Monetary donations can also be made online through their website schaumburgtownship.org.
We are also happy to come and pick up any donations on Wednesday, August 12 from you. On Friday, August 14 all donations will be dropped off at the Schaumburg Food Pantry in the am by volunteers. We will need extra help with drop offs this month due to students going back to college.
