As followers of Christ, we seek to stay informed and thoughtfully engaged with the issues of our day. Engagement includes listening, asking questions, and learning together. One of the significant issues shaping our communities today is immigration.
To help us reflect faithfully on this topic, Central Conference Superintendent Rev. Dr. Danny Martinez will join us on Saturday, March 21 at 10:00 a.m. for a gathering titled “Perspectives on Immigration and the Church.” Other area Covenant churches have been invited, and we are extending the invitation to anyone that would like to attend, regardless of denomination, etc.
This event will provide space for thoughtful conversation, questions, and shared perspectives, along with insight from Rev. Martinez. It is an opportunity for our church to engage this topic in a spirit of faith, humility, and learning.
We will offer light refreshments, and volunteers are needed to assist with coffee and hospitality.
