Lead me, Almighty Father, be ever present in my life. You know me and all my ways: I long to abide and flourish with your guidance. Sow seeds of hope within me, that I might grow in love for you. Plant me in fertile soil, root me in your word. Stake me to Jesus, entwine my leaves around his trellis of truth. Give me wisdom to steer clear of the thistles and weeds that would choke my growth. Send your Spirit to make me a seed and carry me on the wind to bloom in fields of mission. There I will ripen and mature and joyfully await my inheritance in your kingdom. Amen.
