Dear Heavenly Father,
Surrounded by your presence and enfolded in your love, we come as a body seeking wisdom and leadership. We are witnesses to your sustaining miracles: healings, changed lives, restored relationships. How miraculous it is that you have made us family! We treasure our history together and imagine our future as we watch the children you have given us grow up in faith. For all the tears we have cried together, all the music we have sung to exalt your name, all the laughs and sighs and pearls you have woven through sermons and scriptures we are ever grateful. Instill in us new energy, vibrant love, reasoned wisdom and eyes for justice. How you have blessed this place, how we love you! Today we gather to raise the roof to proclaim it. Amen.
