Do You Be-LIEVE It?

I know you believe it, but do you be-LIEVE it!

There is that expression, “I know you believe it, but do you be-LIEVE it!” To really “believe it” means that there is impact, meaning, and life change. It is possible to believe that fact that Jesus rose from the dead, but to so believe without it making an impression on one’s life.

It’s April now, and Spring arrives. The miracle of rebirth is starting. It’s beautiful and we admire new life. Our senses are awakened to fragrances. Easter is this Sunday, signifying the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.  But it is not a sterile fact. New life is celebrated. It is breath taking and spectacular.

Our hope is not in vain. God’s Word notes that Jesus is the “first fruits” of those who follow him.

Resurrection Presence fills our everyday lives. Even tho we walk thru the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil. For God is with us.

This Sunday, at 10 am, we have a worship opportunity to really be-LIEVE it!  And put our whole selves into praise to our risen Lord. In worship, we honor what God has done, and give ourselves to exalting our risen King.

Easter blessings to you and your family. Let us gather this Sunday with renewed vigor and faith in our God. Invite a friend.

Faith is the bird that feels the light and sings when the dawn is still dark. - R Tagore
