You have felt the pull of heaven and returned to the Father. What a wonder it was for your disciples to walk with you, dwell with you. Now though gone from sight, you inhabit our hearts. Our souls wait for your Spirit. Our minds and all the strength within us praise you in your highest heaven. We are astonished by your power: you forge and fulfill prophecy. We are convicted by the evidence that is Jesus. We now know that your power and your hope are available to us, sinners all. We are filled, satisfied, and content. All glory is yours, eternal Lord and Savior. Amen.
