Eternal God and Father, Your gift of salvation has rained down on us Resurrection peace. We are
recipients of joy: astonished at Easter we are only now beginning to absorb the magnitude of your
sacrifice. You harness our disbelief and allow us to touch your wounds. Yes, it is true-we have touched
and seen, we have heard your voice-we have tasted how good the Lord is. From the depth of our souls
we now proclaim: See what the Lord has done! Praise Him! Exult his holy name!
We pray this in Jesus' name, even as we pray now in Jesus' words, saying....
Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, as we forgive them that sinned against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, For ever and ever. Amen.
